As a result of the work, the SFIS community will create a five-year action plan outlining steps and supporting activities to be undertaken to meet all goals both now and into the future. Since starting the work in 2009, CSSR and SFIS have created effective communication plans, developed vision/mission/value statements, reorganized leadership teams, conducted various stakeholder focus groups, and have re-prioritized community initiatives. Due to all of this hard work, the school has moved to separating the middle and high schools from each other – both with different leadership structures – and are now working on the final stages of the 18 month strategic plan that will be presented to the board and community members.
